So now Todd and I can breathe. The event has come and gone. Hit a MAJOR snafu by venue loss in LESS than two weeks before the event. Due to legal proceedings with them. I just won’t talk about it. But seriously, Trexx was able to handle this event, they definitely could have. Absolutely a loss for The United $$$ wise.
We scrambled to find a new venue, with 3 rooms, that could hold a large number of attendees- in MID wedding season (which means other hotels and such were aleady booked solid- the fairgrounds a no because of hours) We DID manage to find a venue but it would have taken longer than a week to secure because of permits and such- andf this venue will be noted for future massive event usage. (read: not a club!)
I am grateful Al and Danny and the staff of Trexx were willing to take on our event at very last minute- even though Saturdays is NOT a night the ever give up anymore. It was smaller than what we needed. But the show needed to proceed!! They were there for us, when no other venue would have been able to do it. So thanks to them.
Steve E (digital ear candy) for blowing the roof of the roof off. Alex Ryan, Brian and Sam for the extreme amount of hands on help they gave for the evening. Sean Place dj Flex and his beautiful wife Cindy for assisting Bad Boy Bill all night. Tony- as always. The Trexx crew for making you all nuts with the massive crowd. Mary- Chris- for your help at the door and being part of Todds awesome Family- I must say the closest -welcoming, family that I am very happy to be a part of. Todds mom Grace- the most wonderful woman- future mother in law- mom – grandma and friend ever. Over the course of 10 years of events she even learned the ropes. I love her so much!! Anyone who helped promote- Lab, for extra equipement. Silas, Harlen for your work and support Parkay for equipment. and the long trek with Todd.
